1. make sure your pc have real player 10.5, if not, download at www.real.com
2. extract RealMediaSplitter.ax from realmediasplitter.zip to windows\system32 folder

3. go to run then type in> regsvr32 RealMediaSplitter.ax
4. go to control panel> folder options then go to "view", un-check the hide extension for known files types
5. change your rmvb file extension to avi, in example movie.rmvb change to movie.avi
6. open nero burning rom, choose VCD for the options, then you should able to burn your filr into vcd.

normally, nero burn a 50 minute (246mb) movie, it will convert become 496mb in vcd, take time around 50 minute, but based on pc performance.

另一种用Nero直接把RMVB檔燒成VCD的方法。。
一、確定電腦上安裝了RealPlayer 10.5，如果沒有，就請到 www.real.com 裡下載。
二、將realmediasplitter.zip裡的RealMediaSplitter.ax（98/ME的用Release文件夾裡的，2000/XP/2003用Realease Unicode文件夾裡的）
解壓縮至Windows目錄下的System32文件夾。

三、在“RUN”裡輸入:regsvr32 RealMediaSplitter.ax
按“OK”後會提示成功。
四、在“CONTROL PANEL”裡打開“FOLDER OPTION”，在“VIEW”裡，將“隱藏已知文件的副檔名”選項前的打勾去掉，按“確定”。
五、找到要燒錄成VCD的rmvb文件，重命名為avi文件。（文件名尾的副檔名“.rmvb”改成“.avi”。如“JOLIN.rmvb”就改成“JOLIN.avi”。）
六、用Nero 6.6將轉換後的文件進行燒錄(注意這裡要用NERO Burning Rom裡選擇vcd格式來燒，不可用Nero StartSmart來燒喔)。

用Nero燒一個50分鐘246mb左右大小的rmvb影片，會燒成近496mb的vcd，約需五十幾分鐘，不過可能因每個人的電腦性能而異。
